Arsenal (LW-5) A Lukas Podolski double and a goal from Olivier Giroud did the damage for Arsenal as they defeated West Ham 3-1. The win helped the Gunners move ahead of Everton in the race for the final Champions League position. 5. Everton (LW-4) Everton scored a 1-0 victory over Sunderland in their weekend fixture before dropping a critical two points in a 3-2 midweek loss to Crystal Palace. West Ham United (LW-12) Matthew Jarvis scored the only goal for West Ham as they fell 3-1 to Arsenal. 14. Swansea City (LW-13) Chico Flores picked up two yellow cards in 17 minutes and Swansea were never able to get back on top of the game as they fell 1-0 to Chelsea. 15. West Bromwich Albion (LW-16) After taking a 3-0 lead through Matej Vydra, Chris Brunt and Stephane Sessegnon just 31 minutes into the contest, West Brom was forced to settle for a 3-3 draw with Tottenham. The equalizing marker came four minutes into second half stoppage time. 16. Aston Villa (LW-15) Three more dropped point for Aston Villa as they fell 1-0 at the hands of Crystal Palace.
